Hello friends, as you know, we are working on the CSC Scholarship project and have already covered three important steps:

Now, we move to Step Four, which is equally important: how to get an English Proficiency Certificate. Without this certificate, your CSC Scholarship application will not be considered complete.

What is an English Proficiency Certificate?

An English Proficiency Certificate is an official letter issued by the university from where you completed your latest degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s). It confirms that your studies were conducted in the English language. This certificate serves as proof of your ability to study in English, which is required for admission to Chinese universities under the CSC Scholarship.

Where to Get the Certificate From?

• If you completed your BS degree from a university such as the University of Bahawalpur or Islamabad University and are applying for a Master’s in China, your English Proficiency Certificate must be issued by that university.
• If you completed your Master’s degree from Punjab University or University of Engineering and Technology and are applying for a PhD in China, the certificate must be issued by your Master’s degree university.

Is IELTS or TOEFL Required?

No, IELTS or TOEFL is not mandatory for CSC Scholarship. Instead, your English Proficiency Certificate issued by your last attended university is sufficient. This certificate will state that your degree program was taught in English, which fulfills the requirement.

Do You Need a New Certificate Every Year?

If you already have an English Proficiency Certificate from last year, technically it is still valid. However, we strongly recommend requesting a new certificate with the latest
